CSI: A glimpse of a criminally good day...

Here’s a glimpse of what to expect on this criminally good day…
9:30am - The excitement builds as we get ready together, dressing up as police officers, detectives and forensic scientists. Our trusty magnifying glasses at the ready!
10:00am - Arriving at the secret start location, we see hundreds of people gathered together eagerly reading the brief. It’s like being at a real life crime scene with the amount of people all dressed up! We load the app, take a criminally good team picture, and start the game.
10:15am - Venturing into the streets, you can feel the buzz of anticipation as teams head in different directions following their interactive maps. We arrive at our first mysterious location and question a possible suspect. Is this information useful I wonder…
12:00pm - After visiting several different locations, we’ve uncovered some key evidence, and each step brings us closer to unveiling the culprit. You can pause the app for as long as you like, so we take a brief break to grab some donuts. Great way to stay in character!
12:30pm - Ready and raring to go, we return to the investigation and head off on our journey, exploring our city like never before. We find ourselves captivated, seeing a different side of our city on our way to uncovering the truth behind this heinous murder!
1:30pm - There are a few teams cheering nearby. They must have found the culprit and worked out their motive. Looks like we’re not winning the fastest team prize, but we’re holding out for the best dressed category! There aren’t many suspects left to interrogate but we think we know who the culprit is…
1:50pm - Piecing together witness statements, checking alibis and finding evidence has really tested our knowledge and pushed our problem solving skills to the limit. But together we’ve cracked the case and came 28th!
2:00pm - We head off back home and we can’t stop talking about the amazing day we’ve just had. It feels so great to spend time together outside, doing something completely different to the norm! Winning the best dressed competition would really top the day off… We’ll find out later who won!
5:00pm - The winners of each of the categories are announced on the event’s Facebook page. There’s so much tension as we find the announcement post from CluedUpp… And the winners are…
