Ever wondered what it would be like to be part of an immersive adventure where you can don your wizarding robes, wield a wand, and solve a magical murder mystery?
Look no further, as we give you a glimpse of what to expect on this extraordinary day...
9:30 am - The excitement builds as we all get ready together, dressing up in our wizarding robes and grabbing our trusty wands. Our costumes reflect our favourite characters, bringing the enchanting world of magic to life. And we’re really pulling it off!
10:00 am - Arriving at the secret starting location, we see hundreds of other teams gathered together. Some of the costumes are incredible, it’s positively spell-binding. We load the app, take an enchanting team picture, and start the game!
10:15 am - Venturing into the streets, you can feel the buzz of anticipation as teams head in different directions following their interactive maps. We arrive at our first mysterious location and receive a clue, but first have to crack a vexing puzzle. Thankfully we complete the challenge and head off to our next spot.
12:00 pm - After visiting several different locations, we’ve uncovered some key evidence, and each step brings us closer to unveiling the dark secrets to be found in this quest. You can pause the app for as long as you like, so we take a brief break to savor some magical refreshments, replenishing our energy for the challenges that lie ahead. This game really separates the sorcerers from the apprentices.
12:30 pm - Replenished and raring to go, we cast a spell to reignite the map and head off on our journey of discovery as we explore our city like never before. We find ourselves captivated, seeing a different side of our city on our way to uncovering the truth behind this heinous murder!
1:30 pm - Other teams are cheering nearby, they must have found all the clues and cracked the case. Looks like we’re not winning the fastest team prize, but we’re holding out for the best team photo category. There isn’t much evidence left for us to gather, and we think we know who the culprit is. This is getting tense.
1.50 pm - The puzzles, riddles, and challenges have tested our knowledge of the wizarding world and pushed our problem-solving skills to the limit. But together, we’ve conquered the quest and cracked the case! In the end, we were the 32nd fastest team out of hundreds that took part.
2.00 pm - We head off for refreshments in the local café and discuss the bewitching day we’ve just had. After an unforgettable experience, we reflect on how great it is to spend time together with loved ones, doing something fun in the outdoors. How awesome would it be to win the best photo category at our event? Winners are announced later this evening!
5:00 pm - The winners of various categories are announced on the event’s Facebook page. The tension is palpable and you can feel the air crackle with suspense. Have we won? And the winner of the best team photo is…
